Esperanza Trejo Hernandez, 78, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Parkview Regional Hospital.  Graveside services were held on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Mexia Cemetery with Prudencio Pevia officiating.  Family visitation was held on Sunday evening from 4-6 p.m. at the Iglesia Pentecostal Camino de Salvacion.   

Esperanza was born on September 20, 1931 in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother as well a homemaker. 

Esperanza was preceded in death by her husband, Luiz Hernandez and a son, Jose Luz Hernandez.   

She is survived by her children, Mario Hernandez of Houston, Texas, Juan Manuel Hernandez of Mexia, Texas, Maria Enriqueta Olvera of Eagle Pass, Texas, Maria Esperanza Hernandez of Mexia, Texas, Hector Jose Hernandez of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico; 31 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
