Carl Andrew Jones, 76, of Wortham, passed away on January 25, 2010 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Porter Chapel in Wortham with Reverend Jay Fraze and Bill Wright, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at Wortham Cemetery. Family visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the chapel in Wortham.

Carl was born on December 11, 1933 in Wortham, Texas to Andrew B. & Vada Bounds Jones.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Andrew Jones. He is survived by his wife, Ramona Jones; sons, Carl Jones and wife, Kay and Cliff Jones; daughter, Jennifer Court and husband, Donald; stepdaughter, Sheri Payne and husband, William; stepsons, William Shelton and Robert Shelton; nieces, Jimmy Ruth McAdams and husband, Tommy and Andrea Barlow and husband, Jeff; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Don Holmes, James Black, Don Murphy, David Sutherland, Bobby Jack Liles and Tink Easterling.
